Our Lord of Love Mission Possible Team plans the use of our Mission Dollars raised from our special offerings each year. Below is a listing of organizations we have either donated funds to already, or are planning to support.
Past Donations
$1,500 to support the building of a roof on a school associated with a Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
$500 to Bob Kasworm to be distributed in Tanzania where he sees the greatest need.
Food bank of the Heartland to help fight hunger in our local community and the surrounding area.
Lutheran Family Services to support their programs here in Omaha
– Center for Healthy Families
– At Ease program – providing support to families of active duty military members
ELCA Disaster Response in support of earthquakes, flooding, fires, and other natural disasters.
Together Inc.
Lord of Love Youth Fund in support of churchwide youth gatherings.
