A few things you should know…
PARKING & ARRIVAL

  • Please park at the south side of our building. The volunteer entrance is at the southwest corner under the awning. A Food Bank employee will be there to greet you upon arrival.
  • The door will unlock twenty minutes before the shift begins. The same door will also lock 20 minutes after the shift begins.

ATTIRE

  • We recommend dressing in layers, as our Volunteer Center is climate controlled.
  • All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip flops). We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as most of your session will involve standing.
  • Please make sure to wear a shirt with sleeves (no tank tops or cut offs). Many company volunteer groups wear company t-shirts to show their workplace pride!

PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES

  • Tobacco, vapes, and chewing gum are not allowed in the Volunteer Center.
  • No food or drinks are permitted, except for water.
  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Children ages 10-15 can volunteer, but they must be supervised by an adult. There must be one adult present for every five children between the ages of 10 and 15.
