Join us for Lenten Worship. All of the worship opportunities are streamed and available from our Worship Videos page.

Join us during Lent as we journey through our theme of “Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith”. We will be using a lectionary Scriptures based on Kate Bowler and Jessica Richie’s devotional book Good Enough: 40ish Devotionals for a Life of Imperfection. Welcome to a Lent of affirming a faith in which we are blessed, regardless, and where we can lean into embracing our “good enough” lives.

Midweek Lent Worship
Wednesdays, February 18 thru March 25 – 7pm

Ash Wednesday, February 18, 7pm
Worship with imposition of ashes and communion.
Perfectionism is impossible. Transformation isn’t.

“And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward… but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21

Beginning February 25, a free-will supper precedes Wednesday worship services from 5:30-6:30pm

February 25 – “Ordinary lives can be holy.” (Luke 4:1-13)
meal: Church Council serving Chili
March 4 – “So much is out of our control.” (Luke 13: 31-35)
meal: Choir serving hamburger soup
March 11 – “Lots of thing can be medicine.” (Luke 13:1-9)
meal: Men’s Ministry
March 18 – “We often believe we are the problem.” (Luke 15: 1-3, 11b-32)
March 25 – “We are fragile.” (John 12:1-8)

Sunday Lenten Study -10:15-11am in the sanctuary
On Sundays during lent, we gather to reflect on our Lenten Theme and devotions based on the weekly theme from Kate Bowler and Jessica Richie’s book, “Good Enough: 40ish Lenten Devotions for a Life of Imperfection.” Each week’s selected devotions can be found in the printed Guided Journals available in the narthex. If you would like the theme book, some copies are available in the Narthex for $10, or purchase your own. You can join us at any time during Lent, even if you haven’t gotten read or listened to the materials.
