Confirmation is an intentional faith education program that leads to reaffirmation of baptism as a public profession of faith.
Confirmation education is offered to young people in the 7th and 8th grades. Students are confirmed on the first Sunday of May each year.

Confirmation is not an end, but a beginning of a life-long journey of faith development which hopefully leads towards a life of faith-filled service and continued learning.

At Lord of Love mid-week confirmation classes are held most Wednesdays of the school year.  Wednesday classes are led by the pastor.  Adult mentors engage the students in more in-depth discussion of lesson topics. Sunday School sessions further complement the confirmation process with additional study of the bible and Luther’s Small Catechism..

There is an emphasis on the teachings of Martin Luther and the theological position of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Students must commit to attending mid-week sessions, sermon notes, and participation in the life of the congregation through worship and service activities.

Contact the church office for additional information on this religious education program at Lord of Love.
