John 17:23 (NIV)
I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Lord of Love’s Mission Statement:
Created by God’s gracious love, we are called, as a community of faith, to be witnesses and servants of Jesus to the world.

We are fortunate to have members who have a passion to serve others and to energize our congregation in support of mission.  Through our outreach activities we seek to use the gifts that God has provided to us to aid those in need and to Christ to other’s.

Our Mission Possible team meets regularly to identify needs within our community and beyond.  They look for ways that we can use God’s gifts to best serve those in need and select a focus for our mission funds and activities.

At this time, our significant outreach and mission activities are:

Loads of Love – our congregation providing laundry care, personal hygiene, and paper products to those in need 3 times per year

Community Garden – a congregation tended garden that provides fresh produce to Project Hope

Bob Kasworm – a member serving in Tanzania with Alegent Health Systems

Habitat for Humanity – ongoing participation in the Ecumenical Labor Force Coalition

More details on the mission activities of our congregation are provided in the sub-pages of this section.
